U.S.-S. Korea Test Nuclear War Exercises Targeted against DPRK Flailed-KCNA

U.S.-S. Korea Test Nuclear War Exercises Targeted against DPRK Flailed

Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises now being staged by the U.S. in collusion with south Korea are a grave military threat and provocation to the DPRK, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a bylined commentary.

The said saber-rattling is a large-scale dangerous test war to ignite an all-out nuclear war under the scenario to do harm to the DPRK by force of arms from A to Z, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. decided to include the expansion and intensification of the drills to cope with the "contingency" under the simulated conditions after someone′s "collapse" in the contents of Key Resolve and Foal Eagle this year. This fully reveals the aggressive nature and danger of the drills.

What should not be overlooked is that a U.S. aircraft carrier is involved in the maneuvers. Last year, too, the U.S. imperialists brought its aircraft carrier to the East Sea and West Sea of Korea for madcap war maneuvers.

While frequently dispatching its aircraft carrier there, the U.S. seeks to ignite the second Korean war anytime.

It is the invariable stand and principle of the DPRK to react to good faith with good faith and strength with strength. The DPRK is ready for both dialogue and war.

The U.S. would be well advised to stop at once the criminal war racket, not misjudging the principled stand of the DPRK.
