The struggle for Women's Emancipation
is a part of National Redemption and Social Liberation

"The investigations of Bachofen, Morgan and others seem to prove that the social suppression of women coincided with the creation of private property."

These are the words Clara Zetkin hath spoken in regards to the struggle of women and its will to emancipation. These words also coincedes with the realities prevailing from the past till nowadays, all despite the modernity, technology, and reforms wherein women are also participated in that process.

People would surely notice that how come despite the modernity around us lies the age-old sentiments in regards to women? Of treating them as peons and playthings? We've all noticed women being called as sluts, bitches, whores, everything that is degrading to the feminine reputation, yes for it is the society, being rotten to the core, prevents so from advancing. As evidenced by our surroundings, that the women remained subordinate to the wishes of man.

But despite these odds still the struggle of the female sex remains protracted and advancing. Just like the struggles of every nations for national redemption and societies for social liberation, the female gender, being a "half of man" (hence woman) must be treated equally, with respect and honour, and be given right to choose what the society is given upon to. Women are sick and tired of getting stuck in the home, of given less wages, of being treated as playthings and mere models, women are tired of being "feminine" so to speak.

And thus,
In part of the celebration of the International Women's Day happened last March 8, I bid greetings to the women, who joined hand in hand with the peoples of the world, in fighting for freedom in their respective nations, democracy in their respective communities, and a promising socialist tommorrow. Women held half of the sky as Mao Zedong stated, making it proof that women, being half of man should be a contributor of the society and of history itself.
