Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The Juche idea continues shedding its rays as the guiding idea of the times in the 21st century, too, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in a signed article.

The last 20th century was a century of a great surge in the cause of independence against imperialism but the 21st century can be described as one in which this struggle is gaining in scope and strength.
The on-going struggle against imperialism is characterized by an indomitable struggle of the people not yielding to any threat and blackmail of the imperialists and their stubborn and persist struggle to put their independent will into practice to the last.
All the facts clearly prove the validity of the Juche idea that taught the truth that where there is oppression, there always comes resistance, the fixed truth that nothing can quell the desire of the popular masses for independence.
The issues of talents and human resources present themselves as very serious ones in the era of knowledge-based economy in the 21st century.
It is of particular importance at present to firmly maintain the Juche-oriented stand which calls for steadfastly planting one′s feet on the soil of his or her own country and nation while boosting international exchange and cooperation. The road of independence indicated by the Juche idea is the most correct way for every nation to achieve its maximum free development and all-round efflorescence.
The reality in the new century proves that the Juche idea serves as one giving correct answers to the important issues related to the existence of humankind.
The disputes among nations and tribes assuming more fierce nature in the 21st century can be properly settled when they are based on the Juche idea and the Juche-oriented view on the nation.
The Juche idea serves as a banner for soundly developing the relations between countries and nations which differ in ideology, religious faith, system and culture and a powerful weapon for frustrating the moves of the imperialists to drive a wedge between nations.
The Juche idea is a banner of prosperity as it helps the Korean people decorate the march of the 21st century with a great victory and exploits and make the country prosper and dynamically advance into the world and serves as life-giving water as it makes Korean-style socialism invariably shed its rays in the new century, too.
