U.S. and S. Korea Doomed to Destruction--Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- Key Resolve and Foal Eagle are the continuation and a revised version of the Team Spirit that had been ill famed as nuclear war exercises against the DPRK. The dangerous war saber-rattling has also been expanded systematically, posing a nuclear threat.
Rodong Sinmun today says this in a bylined article.
It cites facts to prove that Key Resolve originated from Team Spirit. It says:
Key Resolve and Foal Eagle have become all the more vicious in their aggressive nature and provocative contents due to the U.S. policy of aggression towards the DPRK and the reckless actions of the south Korean ruling quarters following it.
This year′s military drills were staged under the provocative OPLAN 5029 which was mapped out under the pretext of coping with what they called "contingency".
The trigger-happy elements at home and abroad made futile efforts to convince the public that those military drills are annual "defensive exercises". Such brazen-faced action will never work on anyone.
The confrontation and tensions have recently mounted higher between the armed forces of the north and the south due to the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities going against the trend of the times for dialogue and peace.
The war hysteria of the U.S. and the south Korean war-like forces aimed at the invasion of the DPRK remains unchanged and it has already gone beyond the tolerance limit.
The U.S. and the south Korean war-like forces′ escalation of the tension aimed at a war will lead them to final destruction.
