S. Korean Military Accused of Its Psychological Warfare against DPRK
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Hankuk Ilbo in its editorial on Feb. 28 chided the puppet military for its psychological warfare against the DPRK as it escalates the tension on the Korean Peninsula.
Recalling that the military authorities resumed this warfare six years after it was suspended in the areas along the military demarcation line under an agreement between the south and the north in 2004, the editorial noted that they are massively sending balloons carrying baskets full of garments, etc. into the areas of the north these days.
Drawing attention to the fact that the army is joining in the operation for scattering leaflets launched by non-governmental conservative bodies, the editorial urged the authorities to refrain from acts of provoking the north.
