Kim Jong Il′s Philosophy on Arms Praised
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- The Feb. 18th issue of Nepal′s newspaper Arpan carried an article titled "Principle of Songun Revolution".
The article said:
Leader Kim Jong Il has systemized the principle of the Songun revolution.
The principle defines the essence of the Songun idea.
He enunciated the philosophy on arms which clarifies that a revolution starts, advances and wins victory by force of arms.
The philosophy clarifies the position and role of arms in the revolution. This runs through the overall Songun idea.
Arms mean a major factor of victory in the revolution.
The struggle against imperialism and counter-revolutionary forces means confrontation of arms. If the popular masses are to emerge victorious, they should have a strong revolutionary army.
It is the immutable truth that there should be a powerful army to defend the triumphant revolution.
The army plays a decisive role in socialist construction.
