UFG Blasted by British Organization
Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA)-The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain released a statement on August 16 denouncing the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces for waging war maneuvers.
The U.S. imperialists and the Lee Myung Bak puppet regime of south Korea are conducting all-out war maneuvers codenamed Ulji Freedom Guardian in the wake of the provocative joint naval exercises in the East and West Seas of Korea, the statement pointed out, and said:
This saber-rattling, larger in scale than other military exercises, is apparently a war gamble to invade the DPRK.
The U.S. seeks to turn the Asia-Pacific region into its colony.
UFG poses a threat to peace of not only the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region but the whole world.
The exercises are part of the undisguised and reckless moves to threaten the DPRK to make unilateral concession and, furthermore, to force it to abandon socialist system, and they amount to a grave encroachment upon the sovereignty of the DPRK.
The British Branch demands that the U.S. imperialists immediately stop UFG and get their armed forces withdrawn from south Korea, lift sanctions against the DPRK and stop threatening it with nukes, the statement stressed.
