SOVIET FASHION
Aside from the now boring views on politics, I am focusing this time on fashion. While borwsing, I looked at the drawings of women wearing old but trying to be stylized clothing made in the then Soviet Union. And somehow it mirrors the soviets trying to get in touch with the fashions of the times, in contrast to the common soviet attire based on the worker and peasant.
However,
As I continue browsing, it seems that the Soviets, and its successor states like the Russians also had enough ideas in fashion. They may have tried to copy New York, Paris, or Tokyo yet the style end up always in Sankt Peterburg or in Moscow-to the fact that its style somewhat follows the traditional designs entwined with the signs of the times.
They may wanted not to join the flow, but through its uniqueness somehow it gives, it not less, enough fresh setting when it comes to the attires being created, and this time an idea to be copied.
