Dangerous Saber-rattling of Warmongers Blasted

Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises are a test nuclear war aimed at mounting a surprise preemptive strike at the DPRK from the sky, land and seas, to all intents and purposes, as they were kicked off in the wake of the frantic south Korea-U.S. joint naval exercises and the anti-submarine drill of the south Korean puppet army in the East and West Seas of Korea, says Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a signed article.

It goes on:

The warmongers inside and outside south Korea are employing a petty trick to cover up the aggressive nature and danger of UFG while painting them as "annual maneuvers" and "exercises to cope with possible provocations" of someone. This is, however, nothing but sheer sophism.

The on-going exercises lay bare their criminal scenario to ignite another Korean war at any cost by wrecking peace on the Korean Peninsula and escalating the tensions there to an extreme phase.

It is the invariable aim of the conservative group in south Korea to stifle fellow countrymen and realize its sinister political ambition, backed by foreign forces.

The large-scale DPRK-targeted war maneuvers staged by the south Korean puppet forces one after another in collusion with the U.S. are very grave military provocations, little short of a declaration of war against the DPRK. It clearly indicates that the group of traitors seeks to realize its scenario to seize the DPRK by force of arms by clinging to the coattails of the U.S. in disregard of the public opinion at home and abroad demanding peaceful solutions to the pending issues of the Korean Peninsula through direct dialogue and negotiations.

The puppet group had better halt its provocative play with fire, mindful that it can never go scot-free while escalating the tensions and the moves to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK by toeing foreign forces' line.
