US-S. Korean Maneuvers for War Aggression against DPRK Flailed-KCNA

US-S. Korean Maneuvers for War Aggression against DPRK Flailed

Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities perpetrated military provocations in waters of the West Sea of Korea and are now kicking up much fuss about "armed provocations from the north" and the like, making profound confusion of right and wrong in a bid to create the impression that the DPRK was to blame for them. The U.S. warlike forces are escalating the military pressure upon the DPRK, talking about "strong military support" to south Korea.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The recent firing of dozens of shells by the south Korean puppet warmongers into the territorial waters of the DPRK side at the tacit connivance of the U.S. imperialists did not occur due to the malfunction of any weapons or misguided firing. This was a premeditated and deliberate grave military provocation aimed at another Korean war as it was committed as a follow-up of the warship "Cheonan" case.

This proves that the U.S. was behind the recent Yonphyong Island incident as was the case with the "Cheonan" case and the U.S. was the arch criminal who deliberately planned and wire-pulled the incident.

This was clearly evidenced by the fact that no sooner had the Yonphyong Island incident taken place than the U.S. hurled nuclear carrier George Washington into the West Sea of Korea for staging again large-scale exercises for a new war together with the south Korean puppet forces. This was the strategic aim pursued by the U.S. imperialists through the on-going Hoguk military exercises.

The U.S. is wholly to blame for the touch-and-go situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The "military threat" touted by the U.S. imperialists is nothing but sophism intended to justify their reckless military provocations and find a pretext for igniting a war.

The U.S. would be well advised to drop its wrong military calculation and stop the adventurous war exercises, facing up to the present situation with a cool head.
