All Koreans Called on to Hold Higher Banner of Peace against War

Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet warmongers going in league with outside forces are getting evermore frantic in their moves for a war of aggression against the DPRK, pushing the situation to the brink of a war, observes Rodong Sinmun Monday in a signed article.

The situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula requires all the Koreans to wage a dynamic struggle for frustrating the moves of the U.S. imperialists and the puppet warmongers to provoke a new war, holding aloft the banner of peace against war, the article notes, and goes on:

It is a vital task for defusing the ever-increasing danger of a war and protecting the nation′s destiny to avert a war and defend peace.

After bringing an increasing number of its aggressor forces to south Korea the U.S. has escalated the moves for aggression against the DPRK. This is the root cause of escalating tension on the peninsula.

The successive ruling quarters of south Korea have run wild in their rackets to unleash a new war in league with the U.S. in an effort to do harm to compatriots by force of arms, backed by outside forces. The present ruling forces of south Korea, in particular, declared the confrontation between the systems, fanning up a tense atmosphere of confrontation with the DPRK.

After sparking off the Yonphyong Island shelling incident, the puppet forces are kicking up hysteria of confrontation and war in league with outside forces, vociferating about "armed provocations" from someone.

It is the sinister intention of the puppet group to drive the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase and bring back the June 15 era of reunification to the era of confrontation through reckless firing of bullets and shells against its dialogue partner.

If the June 15 era of reunification is to advance and the cause of national reunification be accomplished, it is necessary to thoroughly foil the moves of the south Korean conservative group to ignite a war of aggression against the DPRK in league with outside forces, holding aloft the banner of peace against war.

Only when all the Koreans get united as one and wage a bold struggle for defending peace against war, can they surely check and frustrate the moves of outside forces and the puppet warmongers to provoke a new war.
