Justice for Assange!

Last December 8, Julian Assange was arrested and jailed without bail in UK on the basis of a warrant issued by Sweden after two women accused him of spurious sex crimes. However, the main reason for his arrest and incarceration was that Assange was famous for his website known for exposing the acts of the Imperialist United States around the world, through its once-confidential documents being leaked and investigated by people exposing the errors and other related acts made by the U.S.
Known the people as Wikileaks, this site, founded in 2006, was known for posting a video last April 2010 from a 2007 incident in which Iraqi civilians and journalists were killed by U.S. forces, on a website called Collateral Murder. In July of the same year, WikiLeaks released Afghan War Diary, a compilation of more than 76,900 documents about the War in Afghanistan not previously available for public review. In October, the group released a package of almost 400,000 documents called the Iraq War Logs in coordination with major commercial media organisations. And last month, WikiLeaks began releasing U.S. State department diplomatic cables.
These acts, despite its illegality according to the norms of the rotten social order, is willing to change the global atmosphere as the site exposed all the acts made by the United States day by day-that, after his arrest, there is a proposal from the US Congress to designate Wikileaks as a terrorist organization. While Assange being targeted by prominent North American politicians who publicly urging his liquidation. The US is pressuring Scotland Yard to extradite him to face espionage charges.
The website Wikileaks is being harassed and sabotaged as Paypal, Mastercard, Visa, EveryDNS.net, and Amazon dropped it. Facebook even deleted their fan page and Moneybookers, which collected donations for WikiLeaks, had ended its relationship with the site since the tide of hysteria against Assange and Wikileaks, sponsored by the United States and its allies continues.
But still,
Despite the massive attack of the U.S. Imperialists towards Assange and his website, there are supporters rallying to his cause and his willingness to expose the truth regarding the anomalies made by the United States around the world. Protests, appeals, even sabotage was being conducted to counter American action that, even Ron Paul, a staunch Republican even supported the cause of Assange, as he said:
"In a free society we're supposed to know the truth,"
"In a society where truth becomes treason, then we're in big trouble."
"Why don't we prosecute The New York Times or anybody that releases this?"
And in another speech at US House of Representatives, Paul again defended WikiLeaks against criticism for revealing the truth and warned the US administration that:
"lying is not patriotic".
How wonder Paul, a Republican spoke that since most Republicans are staunch Hawks justifying the actions of the United States, especially its actions on Iraq, Afghanistan, and other countries in the name of "Counter-terrorism." How come Paul speak of it, same as fellow Republican congressman Connie Mack IV of Florida also praised WikiLeaks, stating that Americans have a right to know the contents of the leaks as he said:
“no matter how we acquire that knowledge.”
Are these Republicans started to wash their hands after their actions justifying the acts made by the solders like in Iraq? How about Palin? She, like the hawkish-minded Republicans wanted to call Assange and Wikileaks as terrorists similar to Al Quaeda as she said:
"Hunt WikiLeaks chief down like Osama bin Laden"
How come Republicans are not in a united stand, as Paul and Mack are different from Palin's regarding Assange and Wikileaks? It really shows how these people, like Palin, justified anything against the United States as terrorism, a paranoia that even investigative journalism can be an act of espionage, sabotage and a crime punishable by death!
After all, despite Assange's arrest and incarceration, of harassment of Wikileaks by the Imperialists and its allies, people still defending the will for free speech and press, of unveiling the truths regarding the acts of the American Imperialists around the world, or if Mao lives, then would likely to expose and justify the U.S. of A as a "Paper Tiger", as he said:
"Now U.S. imperialism is quite powerful, but in reality it isn't. It is very weak politically because it is divorced from the masses of the people and is disliked by everybody and by the American people too. In appearance it is very powerful but in reality it is nothing to be afraid of, it is a paper tiger. Outwardly a tiger, it is made of paper, unable to withstand the wind and the rain. I believe the United States is nothing but a paper tiger.
History as a whole, the history of class society for thousands of years, has proved this point: the strong must give way to the weak. This holds true for the Americas as well.
Only when imperialism is eliminated can peace prevail. The day will come when the paper tigers will be wiped out. But they won't become extinct of their own accord, they need to be battered by the wind and the rain."
And the acts made by Assange, and his Wikileaks shows how Mao's definition of U.S. as a paper tiger is further elaborated. More and more people will continue opposing the acts of the Imperialists and its allies, like the hackers who launched DDoS attacks against PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and the Swiss bank PostFinance, in retaliation for perceived anti-WikiLeaks behavior under the codename of Operation Avenge Assange. The attacks made by the group Anonymous brought down Mastercard and Visa's websites on December 8th, is a part of a worldwide support against a man who simply did his job to unveil the anomalies of the United States against the peoples of the world, a paper tiger who brags that he's strong yet weak in the inside, cannot be resisted by the wind and rain.
I hope all people against the rotten social orders around the world must support Wikileaks and its founder despite the barrage of criticisms laid by the order against the two, as the site itself and even Assange, its creator helps in unveiling facts, step by step despite every threat pointing against them. They may end up financially strapped but still, the unveiling of truth will still prevail.
