Reckless Military Provocations against DPRK Censured in Britain

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Staffordshire, Britain, Branch of the Korean Friendship Association made public a statement on Dec. 20 last year. It lashed out at the south Korean puppet military war-like forces for their military provocations in the waters off Yonphyong Island in the West Sea of Korea and the U.S. for its war moves zealously patronizing them.

The south Korean military perpetrated the provocative shelling, pursuant to one of the many charades orchestrated by the puppet authorities, the statement noted, adding that this is aimed to justify their sinister hostile acts against the DPRK.

It blasted the Lee Myung Bak group for pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch of tension in violation of all the points agreed upon between the north and the south and the U.S. for zealously encouraging it in its acts.

It called on all the anti-imperialist activists and other people who value justice and peace to make efforts to avert a war and defuse tension on the Korean Peninsula.
