S. Korea Urged to Respond to DPRK's Proposal


Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia released a statement on Jan. 14 urging the authorities, political parties and organizations of south Korea to positively respond to the sincere efforts of the DPRK.

The Communist Party of Czech and Moravia highly appreciates the DPRK's stand to meet anyone anytime and anywhere, letting bygones be bygones, the statement said.

The important proposal of the DPRK is very just as it helps achieve national reconciliation and peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula, it said, adding:

We fully support this proposal and the DPRK's efforts to put it into practice.
