Japan′s Blind Subservience to U.S. Assailed
Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- The chief Cabinet secretary of Japan recently let loose a spate of piffles that "the existence of the U.S. marine base in Okinawa has great significance" and "he could not but request the prefecture to cover the expenses for the base."
Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a by-lined commentary in this regards observes: This made it clear that the Japanese authorities are poised to keep the U.S. forces base in Okinawa and continue covering its upkeep.
Nowhere else in the world one can find such country as Japan which is hosting huge aggressor forces of other country under the pretext of "security" and paying a stupendous amount of money as their upkeep.
It is quite evident that Japanese politics has neither principle nor proper standpoint nor ism, the commentary notes, and goes on:
As a matter of fact, U.S. troops are present in Okinawa not for ensuring the "security" of Japan. They are forces for aggression and war as they are tasked to carry out the U.S. military hard-line policy and hegemonic strategy towards Northeast Asia. The Japanese authorities must know well about this but are working hard to keep the base in the prefecture defying the people′s opposition.
