Solidarity with DPRK's Principled Stand Expressed

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- A political party of Russia and an organization of Ecuador expressed solidarity with the DPRK's principled stand toward the anti-DPRK smear campaign of the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors.

The Komsomolsk-Na- Amure City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation sent a letter to the DPRK mission in Khabarovsk on June 2, in which it expressed solidarity with the DPRK government and people as regards the fact that the U.S.-led reactionaries in the world are escalating their provocative moves to stifle the DPRK by force over the case of sinking of warship "Cheonan".

The Guaranda Association for Friendship, Culture and Solidarity with the Korean People of Ecuador in its statement on May 28 fully supported the stand of the DPRK that it would resolutely react to the south Korean authorities' policy for confrontation with it.

Meanwhile, the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association, the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee of Nepal, the National Anti-Imperialist Forum of Nepal, the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal, the Nepal Institute for the Juche Studies, the Nepal Journalist Association, the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, the Peace Action Committee of Nepal, the National Press Club of Nepal, the Nepalese Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea and the Nepalese Committee for Promotion of Reunification of Korea issued a joint statement on June 3 in support of the statement of a spokesman for the DPRK National Defence Commission, the May 28 statement of a spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry and the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

The joint statement demanded that the south Korean conservative authorities promptly stop going against all the Korean people's efforts to achieve durable peace and stability of Asia and the Korean Peninsula under the banner of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, in a statement on May 31 denounced the south Korean authorities' despicable anti-DPRK smear campaign and expressed full support and solidarity with the just tough countermeasures taken by the DPRK.
