Public Catering Establishments Built in Hoeryong City







Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) --Hoeryong City in the northern border area of Korea is well furnished with public catering establishments.

In a year or little more, 18 catering establishments have been newly built or rebuilt in the city.
Lots of restaurants, including rabbit meat, maize food and soft drink houses, have appeared on both sides of a street, and Hoeryong Restaurant and a food factory have also been built in the city.

Hoeryong Onban (cooked rice served in chicken soup) House, Saemaul Restaurant and Sanop Pulgogi (roast meat) House and other existing service facilities have been facelifted.

The catering establishments serve various kinds of dishes, including national food.

The food factory provides the restaurants with food and foodstuffs.

Meanwhile, pig and duck farms and a vegetable hothouse have been built in the city to fully supply products to catering establishments.

The city, North Hamgyong Province, is the birthplace of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk.
