On June 25 – July 27 Anti-US Joint Struggle Month
The Korean Friendship Association- UK issued a statement on June 26.
The statement noted that the US imperialists and their followers have aggravated the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the extreme and faked up the case of warship “Cheonan” sinking, far from drawing lessons from their defeat in the past Korean War.
It stressed that the association strongly demand the US and the south Korean puppet regime stop at once the conspiratorial ruckus against north Korea and withdraw the US troops from south Korea.
The Swiss-Korea Committee and the Juche Idea Study Group of Swiss released a joint statement on June 23. The statement read:
Under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung the Korean army and people defeated the US imperialists in the three-year-long Fatherland Liberation War.
The present situation on the Korean Peninsula resembles that of 60 years ago.
Toady Marshal Kim Jong Il, the ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander, leads the Korean army and people.
We oppose the 2nd Korean War!

The Korean Friendship Association- Swedish branch issued a statement on June 24.
The statement said:
June 25 this year marks the 60th year since the US imperialists provoked the Korean War.
The Korean War has not been finished yet and the constant danger of a new armed conflict exists on the Korean Peninsula.
The hysteric war campaign against north Korea by the south Korean puppet regime with the incident of the warship “Cheonan” sinking as a momentum and the consequent touch-and-go situation verify once again the urgency for concluding a peace treaty on the Korean Peninsula.
The Korean Friendship Association- Swedish branch reaffirms its support to the Korean people's cause of independent and peaceful reunification and asserts that in order to reunify Korea in accordance with the June 15 south-north joint declaration and secure the reliable peace on the Korean Peninsula and northeast Asian region, the Armistice Agreement should be replaced with a peace treaty and foreign forces be pulled back from south Korea.
Members of the British political parties, friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people and the Juche Idea Study Group held demonstrations denouncing the anti-DPRK moves of the US imperialists and the south Korean regime in front of the US and south Korean puppet embassies in London on June 25.
Andy Brooks, General Secretary of the New Communist Party of Britain, Dermot Hudson, President of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics in UK , Kevin Cain, Organizational Secretary of KFA-UK and other speakers noted that the Korean War provoked by the US imperialists 60 years ago was an unjust war. They criticized that the US is man-killing evils who perpetrated the ever-most bestial crimes unheard-of in the world history of wars and never-pardonable genocides.
They also condemned the US and south Korean puppets who cooked up the sinking case of warship “Cheonan”.
Then they staged demonstration chanting slogans including “Victory to the DPRK!”, “US troops, go out of south Korea !” and “Down with Lee Myung-bak!”, holding placards reading “Down with the US imperialists!”, “The US, hands off Korea !” and “Korea is one!”.
