US Termed Principal Harasser of Peace
Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- The United States is the principal harasser of global peace and stability and the arch criminal sparking off arms race, says Minju Joson Wednesday in a signed commentary.
Recalling that the U.S. recently announced it would massively sell F-35 to Israel, the commentary says this is an extremely dangerous act of escalating the arms race in the Mideast and, furthermore, disturbing peace and stability in the region.
The aim sought by the U.S. in massively shipping latest military equipment into Israel despite the deteriorating situation in the Mideast is to use Israel as a shock brigade and carry out its strategy to dominate the region with ease, the commentary notes, and goes on:
It is a trite method of the U.S. to establish the sphere of its domination over the region by fostering confrontation and dispute among countries and interfering in them and, furthermore, establish domination over the world.
This is clearly evidenced by the fact that the U.S. staged large-scale joint military exercises in the Asia-Pacific region one after another together with its satellite forces recently in an effort to establish domination over the region. In order to establish the sphere of domination over the world the U.S. worked out a new joint war scenario for coordinated operations of naval and air forces and is spending a stupendous amount of money for the modernization of military equipment including the development of unmanned submarines.
The U.S. arms sale to other countries and its moves for a war of aggression are further escalating arms race worldwide, gravely threatening the global peace and stability.
The U.S. should stop at once such hypocritical acts as putting spurs to the global arms race and harassing peace while paying lip-service to "peace" and "disarmament."
