Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Leading papers Wednesday carry articles dealing with the contributions made by President Kim Il Sung to the revolutionary struggle of the Chinese people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the publication of his work "Let Us Actively Support the Chinese People in Their Revolutionary Struggle."

Recalling that the President rendered unreserved assistance to the Chinese people to help them win victory in their revolution after the country's liberation in the wake of his 20-year-long anti-Japanese revolution, papers note that this noble sense of international obligation turned the friendship between the two countries into special and unbreakable one.

The President, who had underscored the need to strengthen revolutionary unity of the Korean and Chinese peoples on several occasions, made public his talk "Let Us Actively Support the Chinese People in Their Revolutionary Struggle," clarifying his revolutionary stand to support the Chinese revolution at the cost of blood.

According to his crucial measure, many fine military and political cadres and members of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (KPRA) were dispatched to new battle areas in Northeast China.

Revolutionaries and armed units of Korea eliminated remnants of the Japanese imperialists and puppet Manchukuo army, wealthy landowners, rebels and lackeys not only in the area of Yanbian but in Southern and Northern Manchuria and areas near Jilin, thereby frustrating the attempt of the Chiang Kai-shek clique to "egg counter-revolutionary forces on to rise in a rebellion and join the Kuomintang army" and creating favorable conditions for the liberation of Northeast China.

He made sure that Korea performed the role of a solid state rear for the war for the liberation of Northeast China and the victory of the Chinese revolution.

Strategic materials were transported from Korea and many units and personnel were sent to battle areas in Northeast China via areas of Korea.

He solved all the problems raised by Chinese representatives on the spot during their visit to Korea and provided lots of war supplies including various types of weapons, ammunition, explosives, medicines, materials for military uniforms and shoes on several occasions. He clearly indicated the way of winning a victory by giving strategic and tactical advices and expressing valuable views in each important period of the war for the liberation of Northeast China.

Hundreds of thousands of young Koreans displayed matchless heroism and self-sacrificing spirit in battlefields in Northeast China including Siping, Jilin, and Shenyang, performing signal feats.

The DPRK-China friendship forged with the comradely sense of obligation and fraternity grew stronger through the Chinese people's movement for resisting America and aiding Korea.

The traditional friendly relations provided by the President together with the leaders of the elder generation of China are steadily growing stronger in the new century, conclude papers.
