US-S. Korea Joint Military Exercises Denounced

Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- The New Zealand-DPRK Society issued a statement on August 27 in denunciation of the DPRK-targeted U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises.

The statement accused the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces of staging the largest-ever joint military exercises throughout south Korea.

Another war exercises aimed at invading the DPRK increase the danger of war in the Korean Peninsula and compel the DPRK to bolster up its nuclear deterrent, it said.

Noting that the ceaseless large-scale war maneuvers of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities are further aggravating the regional situation, the statement urged them to stop the dangerous war maneuvers and the government of New Zealand to strive for peace in the Korean Peninsula.
