Japanese lauds policies of the DPRK
Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- Masaaki Arimoto, Osaka co-representative of the Citizens Solidarity Demanding Earlier Normalization of the Relations between Japan and DPRK, had an interview with KCNA while staying in the DPRK.
Noting that distorted propaganda against the DPRK is now going on in Japan without letup, he said that during the stay he visited various places and confirmed admirable policies enforced in socialist Korea.
He further said:
In the DPRK the state entirely takes care of children since their birth.
We became well aware of this fact while going round the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and Pyongyang Rungna Primary School.
Many women give birth to their children and undergo medical treatment at this hospital without paying even a penny.
Such practices can be hardly expected in other countries.
The children in the DPRK are learning to their hearts' content under the benefit of free education.
The visit to the Grand People's Study House made us deeply feel again how advantageous the socialist system of the DPRK is.
Everyone can use this house free of charge. We were deeply moved to see the people acquiring the science and technology and cultural knowledge at the house.
This convinced us of the rosy future of the DPRK.
We will as ever conduct the energetic activities for realizing the normalization of the Japan-DPRK relations together with personages of different circles in Japan.
