People's Security Ministry Rally Held on Kim Jong Il's Reelection
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- A rally of the Ministry of the People's Security was held Friday to congratulate Kim Jong Il on his reelection as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Present there were Minister of People's Security Ju Sang Song, officials of the ministry and people's security persons and servicepersons of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces.
Speakers at the rally said that Kim Jong Il's reelection as general secretary of the WPK marked a great political event in the efforts to further strengthen the WPK and bring earlier the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Holding Kim Jong Il at the head of the WPK and the revolution provided a sure guarantee for successfully accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche under the great banner of Songun and brought about a brighter and rosier future to Kim Il Sung's nation, they noted, calling on all party members of the people's security organs, people's security persons and servicepersons of the internal security forces to protect with their lives the WPK Central Committee headed by Kim Jong Il, cherishing the firm faith and will that the country's prosperity and people's eternal happiness are guaranteed thanks to his leadership.
Similar rallies of workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and youth and students were held in the compound of the Party Founding Museum and at the Youth Park Open-air Theatre on the same day.
Present at the rallies were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials concerned.

Reporters and speakers said that the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il has given steady continuity to the proud history of a great revolutionary surge, brought about significant events in various parts of the country to bring earlier the day of appearance of a thriving nation and caused innovations and leap forward to take place at all units and posts.
