WPK Sends Greetings to CPC 6th Congress
Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Saturday sent a message of greetings to the 6th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
The message expressed belief that the congress would mark an important occasion in the struggle of the party and people of Cuba to strengthen the party and advance the cause of socialism as required by the present situation and the developing reality.
The C.C., the WPK, extends full support and firm solidarity to the struggle of the CPC and Cuban people to firmly defend the gains of the revolution won at the cost of blood and achieve prosperity of the country by frustrating the vicious U.S. sanctions and blockade, it noted.
Expressing belief that the militant friendship and traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and peoples forged in the joint struggle for independence against the imperialism and for socialism would grow stronger, the message wished the congress great success.
